A multi national consultancy seeks an Assistant Engineer in Building and Civil Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Establishment Works Consultant in the application of B&CE. This includes taking responsibility for B&CE technical matters including inspections, audits, monitoring roles of work activities on site, providing work briefs and schedules of work, estimating, budget and cost planning, as well as feasibility studies.
With knowledge of current building regulations and legislation along with H&S obligations it is also essential that you are computer literate, have an understanding of estimating and producing specifications, quality assurance and auditing. You will be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of Industrial Building and rural estate issues, as well as being a team player with a flexible and enthusiastic approach to your duties.
